I would like to replay from start this game in the future, but even though I've bought this game full price day 1, I would pirate this game and crack the game to neutralize Denuvo and play in better conditions than my legal copy.It's very sad seeing to what legal purchasers are forced to do to play their legally payed games in the best conditions.Fair warning here, this will venture well beyond spoiler territory and back again. Intersteling enough, I was told that The Phantom Pain runs the same as Ground Zeroes on PS4 and on Xbox One, it even got a resolution upgrade compared to Ground Zeroes (GZ: 720p, One:900p).Īnyway, I would know any of you would like to test The Phantom Pain with Steam-DenuvoDRM version versus a Steamless and Denuvo-less cracked version of The Phantom Pain to see if there are improvements to general performance, to framepacing, to loading times and to general stability. Yes I do know that The Phantom Pain is bigger and has a litte more graphical effects, including HBAO+ on Nvidia which is weirdly not in the game's menu.But still, I might be wrong, but I think there should have a little bit more stability/performance without the Denuvo DRM. I've now more than 450 hours in the game after 5 years but I still have to play this game with Denuvo.Īdmitedly, the game runs pretty well, but it's not as smooth as Ground Zeroes. I've bought the game day 1 in physical, with a TPP flashlight in bonus, but it's obviously a steamwork game, so I was forced day 1 with the Steam-Store DRM and especially the Denuvo DRM. Let me remind you that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes did not have Denuvo and has never had Denuvo. Proof, look at the notice on the right on the game's steam page:
